People intrigue me and I love learning from them. I recently met a lady who had been in excruciating pain and was scheduled for serious surgery that would lay her up for a while. Somehow she discovered something called Biophotonic Therapy and decided to give it a try prior to her surgery. She explained to me that her pain left and she was able to avoid surgery. I needed to better understand how light could help with pain through this therapy.
As I researched this, I discovered that one website explained that “this therapy ‘encourages’ the body to cure itself. The purpose of the treatment is to actually strengthen the body’s natural antibody production, improve blood function.” I am a firm believer that our bodies have that ability, so I wanted to learn more.
To better understand this concept, I liked the description on another website, “Biophotonic Therapy is the use of light to activate the healing properties of the blood. BT is photomedicine and has a well-characterized clinical profile. A dozen books and some 400 articles in the German, Russian, and English-language medical literature describe Biophotonic Therapy. Other common names for BT are Ultraviolet Blood Irradiation and Photoluminescence Therapy.”
The book, Into the Light – Tomorrow’s Medicine Today!: Tomorrow’s Medicine Today by William Campbell Douglass II MD, sheds more light on the subject of light therapy.
So, if you may be looking for options, it may be interesting to see what you discover about “lightening” your load! And of course, good nutrition always helps!
