How is the Egoscue Method Used to Stop Chronic Pain?

I first learned about Egoscue from a friend who had used it and raved about her pain being gone. It peaked my interest—and my curiosity. As I researched it more, the Egoscue method began in the 1970’s and focuses on postural therapy—realigning the body and listening to the body.

The concept is simple. Our bodies get out of alignment. The egoscue practitioners meet you in person or through Skype, and based on your posture, provide simple exercises (a menu) that you do every day. As I looked at testimonials (in addition to my friend’s…who swears by it), it seems like a lot of people are finding relief from it. The concept reminds me of the “Structural Energetic Therapy” that I have had so much luck with, so it made sense to me.
