Looking for ways to save time in the morning? Take 5 minutes to throw together this soaked oats recipe the night before, and you will have a hearty grab-n-go breakfast that tastes amazing! All that you need are the following basics:
- Rolled Oats
- Almond, hemp, coconut or oat milk (to taste)
- Maple syrup, raw honey or coconut sap sugar (to taste)
Then add variations of the following options that sound good to you. The possibilities are endless!
- Fruit – such as dried cranberries, dates, raisins or raw, chopped apples, pears or berries or carmelized apples
- Nuts – walnuts, almonds, cashews, peanuts
- Peanut or almond butter
- Raw cacao
- Dark Chocolate
- Cinnamon
- Turmeric + black pepper
- Cayenne pepper
- Ginger
- Pumpkin Spice blend
- Cloves
- Mint leaves
- Essential oils (make sure you research which ones are ok to ingest, use with caution)
- Spirulina
- Rice Bran Solubles
- Tart cherry juice concentrate (Apothe-Cherry)
- Germinated barley grain (Activated Barley)

Cherry Apple Spice
- Chopped Apples
- Cinnamon
- Ginger
- Almond Butter
- Apothe-Cherry
- Coconut Milk
Cacao-Mint Spirulina
- Cacao nibs
- Dark chocolate
- Cinnamon
- Maple Syrup
- Peppermint essential oil
- Mint leaves (shredded)
- (Plus teaspoon of Spirulina thrown into it in the morning)
Instructions: Fill up a mason jar (or other container with a lid) ¾ of the way. Add the optional items of your choice and then fill up with milk. Put lid on, shake up to disperse contents evenly. Store in refrigerator overnight. Grab and go in the morning! The oats will be nice and soft and fattened up by the milk. You CAN heat them up if you would like but it is not necessary.
